The location is not all that, but the food is worth the effort. The only parking is in the pay & display a short walk away. We ate on the terrace which felt a bit like an upmarket National Trust cafe. I had a trio of smeked fish with horseradish cream. My partner had mussels in leek & stilton sauce. For mains we had sea bass with oriental veg &amp; fishermans pie. It was top class. the bill came to £65 with one bottle of wine. In fact the experience was more drop and less shop. I went to that great Essex emporium known as <a href="http://lakeside.co.uk/">http://lakeside.co.uk/</a>. Four hours later all I had purchased was a double expresso &amp; was totally dissillusioned with shopping. So far the food part is going great but the dieting part is fairly unsuccessful! Theoretically it should be possible to do all three, I mean how hard can it be to drop the elusive dress size &amp; have a social life at the same time.<br /><br />This is also my first time venturing into the world of blogging so bear with me please.
